The Rise of the Feminine | Medicine Festival

Description

We are thrilled to share the first of four films born from Medicine Festival 2024.

‘The Rise of the Feminine’, is an enquiry, a remembering , and an invitation towards acknowledging the vital wisdoms of both the masculine and feminine energies within and without us; their synergistic creativity, but also the discord that occurs in imbalance.

For centuries, destructive systems have severed us from the land, our bodies, and each other. The consequences immense and evident.

Yet, across the world, there remains cultures that live within principles of reciprocity and care. This ripple resonate through each being that turns their ear to Her, the foundational Mother as she speaks through the vibrant, animate world.

The feminine is rising, the other wing of humanity grows in strength; in the language of Earth and body, blood and breath, grief and dreams.Through stories of resistance, ritual, and reconnection, this film is a doorway in.

With deep gratitude to all who lent their wisdom, artistry, and presence to this work.
